SnapSnapSnap
The app is free to download and use, but there is a pay as you go policy for any edits you use. Editing photos through the app incurs the same charges as those listed on BoxBrownie.com.
For property images, we recommend shooting in landscape. Most real estate platforms and websites display images in this format, as it provides a wider field of view, making rooms and spaces appear more expansive. This allows potential buyers to take in more details at a glance. However, if you're creating content for social media, portrait orientation is often the better choice. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok favor vertical content, making it more engaging and optimized for mobile viewing.
The SnapSnapSnap app lets you capture images in 4:3 or 16:9. 4:3 captures more detail, making it ideal for real estate photography. It is also the default setting in SnapSnapSnap because it produces high-resolution images, ensuring cleaner and more accurate professional editing. 16:9 is a widescreen format, ideal for digital displays, websites, and video previews. This format works well for cinematic-style shots.
If your images aren't uploading, first ensure you are connected to WiFi. Check your network connection to make sure it hasn't been interrupted. If you prefer to use mobile data, navigate to Options -> Settings and toggle "Use mobile data to upload orders.". Be aware that image uploads can consume a lot of data, ranging from 5MB to over 20MB per image, so ensure your mobile data plan can accommodate these sizes.
Don't worry! Simply go to Options -> Trash, then long-press on any images you wish to restore. A "Restore" option will appear, and once selected, the images will move back to your imagery folder.
Absolutely! To have existing photos edited, click on "Import from your gallery" in the app. You can do this at any time, even if you've already started a shoot, using the option available at the top of the images screen.
To conserve your device's storage, we only display and allow the download of the middle bracket image. This approach keeps your phone running smoothly while still capturing multiple exposures for optimal editing.
The grid helps you align and balance your shots perfectly. A green box will appear when your phone is exactly level, assisting you in maintaining steadiness. You can toggle this feature on or off using the grid icon in the top right corner of the screen.

To capture the best images:
- Prepare the property by decluttering, turning on all lights, turning off fans, and opening all doors.
- Use a tripod, an iPhone 11 or later, and shoot at eye height.
- Frame your shot for balance and shoot during the day for natural light. For more tips, check out our detailed blog post here.
While you can use our Quick Capture mode without a tripod, for optimal image quality and stability, we recommend using a tripod with SnapSnapSnap. A tripod ensures your images are as sharp as possible. If you don’t have access to a tripod, then we suggest locking in your elbows to your body to keep the phone as still as possible. You can find our recommended tripod here
SnapSnapSnap is compatible with iPhone 7 or later. For the best experience, we recommend using any model from the iPhone 11 series onward, as these include a wide-angle lens perfect for capturing real estate photography.
